Jeep Cherokee Parts

Factory replacement Jeep Cherokee parts are fairly easy to come by, simply because the Cherokee is still in production. Parts needed for certain modifications or upgrades can be easy to find if the modification you are attempting is a popular one. If, however, you intend to reconfigure your Cherokee for Antarctic terrain or turn it into a party barge, you'll need to be resourceful - even by Jeep owner standards.

The easiest Cherokee parts to acquire - and consequently, the most affordable ones - are factory replacement parts. Spark plugs, hoses, filters and caps are easy to come by, because they usually aren't model specific and folks need them on a regular basis. Parts which are specific to your Cherokee, such as sheet metal or your grille, will be a bit more expensive, but still easy to come by.

The Cherokee parts needed for certain upgrades or modifications could be just as easy to come by as factory replacement parts. For instance, because so many Cherokee owners eventually lift their Jeeps, there are Cherokee-specific lift kits in several heights. Lifted jeeps seem to require larger tires and wheels as well, so these parts are also fairly common on the market.

On the other hand, not many folks outfit their Cherokee for drag racing. Consequently, there are few parts available for that specific modification, and the ones you find may require some imagination to install properly.

Keep in mind that whether you are just replacing a factory part or building the next Presidential Cherokee Limo (it could happen!) stick to Jeep Cherokee parts whenever possible.
