SuperNerfs from JKS provide unsurpassed rocker panel protection without compromising ground clearance or vehicle aesthetics. The innovative design mounts to the vehicle by taking advantage of strategic load distribution points, thus preventing damage to the vehicle and enabling the use of a Hi-Lift® Jack.

On the trail, JKS SuperNerfs allow the vehicle to pivot around trees & stationary objects, and slide over obstacles that would otherwise damage the body. The sense of protection and security actually enables the driver to feel the vehicle's relationship with the terrain, and thus concentrate on the trail ahead instead of worrying about the hazards below.

Our SuperNerfs feature a unique, twin-tube construction that protects the entire length of each rocker panel. The 2" square primary support tube fits snugly beneath the rocker panel for uncompromised ground clearance and mounts to the chassis using two structural mounting arms and eight bolts per side.

The primary support tube also attaches to the spot-welded body seam on unibody vehicles – or directly to the body on vehicles with a separate frame – ensuring an extremely secure, unitized installation while distributing impact loads over a much greater area.

The secondary tube is constructed of 1-5/8" x 0.140" steel that contours away from the primary support tube enough to safeguard the lower doors. Supplemental tubular support members tie the primary and secondary tubes together to maintain excellent side load strength and integrity.

Finally, our SuperNerfs are finished in a rich, durable and protective powdercoat. Scrapes and scratches can easily be concealed using black semi-gloss spray paint for a near identical match.
The most vulnerable exposed surfaces on a Jeep® body are the rocker panels and lower doors, especially on stock vehicles and models with limited ground clearance. In fact, the sound of initial contact between the rocker panel and opposing obstacle is often the driver's first warning of potential damage. Unfortunately, by then it's too late!

The rocker panels are constructed of thin sheetmetal, with some models utilizing plastic trim molding or even sidesteps to cover the vulnerable areas. Although they vary in shape and size, none of the rocker panel designs utilized by Jeep were designed to offer any significant protection from impacts, and they're all expensive to repair once damaged.
