The transmission deep sump pan solves the loss of forward torque transfer problem on TJ's operated on steep inclines. The problem is caused by the transmission running out of fluid on steep inclines. If you haven't had this happen yet"trust us, you don't want it to. The pan is cheap...body work isn't.
