Wrangler Parts and Accessories

Because Wranglers are significantly different from many kinds of 4x4s, Wrangler parts and accessories are usually very different as well. For instance, Wrangler doors are designed for easy removal, but can be replaced by half-doors or even soft half-doors, made from vinyl. Naturally, soft tops are available for several different models of Jeeps, but will be tailored to fit each individual vehicle. So, when shopping for replacement doors or tops for your Wrangler, be sure to purchase them for your exact model and year.

Wrangler tires and wheels are available in as many styles, depending on what purpose you have in mind. Oversized steel rims and large mudding tires will effectively equip your Wrangler for a rainy weekend, while chrome wheels and standard tires are more appropriate for impressing the boys on the boulevard. Many Wrangler owners keep an extra set of tires mounted on wheels in the garage, so they can be changed out quickly in preparation for snow, mud or just a trip to the game.

While certain Wrangler parts and accessories are available to make your Wrangler more comfortable, not all of them are suitable for off-road use. For instance, leather seat covers may be stylish and comfortable when you're driving to work, but they won't last very long on your trip across the Moab. Other Wrangler accessories only make sense on the trail, such as 4-point harnesses, skid plates and winches.

Shopping for Wrangler parts and accessories can be fun, will occasionally be educational, and if you do it right, it won't be that expensive. The key is to know your vehicle and understand what you are purchasing - before you sign anything.
