They fit well, especially on an LJ. Drilling is required and not too bad to do. They are solid.

Just picked up an '04 TJ Unlimited that is the same color as my first 04 X (I had it new!). It has a tiny lift and needed something for when I wear flats and to fill the gap. These did the trick and look great!
Install was easy and took about an hour or so.
They will get a bit of use until she gets a bigger lift.

After a blowout took out the factory “step”. I wanted a solid replacement. These bars fit the bill exactly! Installation was straightforward after I watched the video.

I ordered these to help conceal body gap on the LJ I just bought (it has a 3" Body Lift on it - yeeesh) and to replace the rusted nerf bars that were on it. These were the only ones I could find for an LJ that attached to the tub. I needed that over the frame mounted version, which would show the gap from the BL. These appeared to be good quality and turned out to be the same as the ones that were removed from the Jeep when I started. They bolted right up, look good and are fully functional. I was surprised how little they weigh, and they seem to be built with light weight tubing. Time will tell how well they hold up to the abuse of the rust belt, but for the price, they seem to be a great value.

Sturdy, easy to install, and matches the finish of my bumpers.
