A danger of all soft top doors is anything on the dash is prone to slide out the window on turns. I won't trust a suction cup attachment for this reason. This holder placed between the instrument panel and the windshield does not move and the rubber uprights hold the phone securely.

The phone holder works pretty good. My problem is that I drive with the steering tilted up all the way and because of that position, it blocks my phone. If I tilt the steering wheel down, I can see my phone fine.
