RedRock Bug Hood Deflector; Smoked (15-20 F-150, Excluding Raptor)

The product is awesome and was easy to install. Only reason for the 4 star review was I had to purchase some push rivets to attach the deflector hood, this was because the ones supplied are too small. They went right through the holes one the bug deflector. Like I mentioned above the deflector is awesome and well made.

Very easy to install after watching you-tube video. My son installed it for me. Was kind of disappointed that the bug guard was all scratched up when I unpacked it out of the box.

In search of a hood deflector for my truck, I turned to AT Trucks where I found precisely what I needed at a great price, and the item arrived promptly. However, upon replacing the factory clips with the supplied ones, I encountered a minor setback. The clips provided were slightly shorter than anticipated. Despite searching various auto parts stores for longer alternatives without success, I, fortunately, decided to opt for rivets. They proved to be a sturdy solution, securely holding the deflector in place without causing any damage. Overall, I'm satisfied with the outcome.

Bug hood did not work as well as the directions showed. The hardware did not work, when trying to fit the fasteners through the hood seal, bug shield and the hood, the fasteners were a little short to fit completely through all three and when pushing on the fasteners they bent over and broke off. The outer end clips would not hold, ever time I shut the hood the ends would fall off. It said it would be hard to push on and the end clips bent beyond any use. Had to remove it since it would not stay on.

the clips scratched my hood under 3m protection. the push pins are too short to reach the 4 mounting holes. seems as the whole thing is warped. very disappointed
