This RedRock Cell Phone Holder is designed to install simply with the supplied, 3M double-sided automotive bonding tape. Installed this and had a hard time getting the nut tight, sat for 2 days and the first time I put my phone in it on a 100 degree day the tape gave way and the phone fell. Not happy with this purchase- poor quality and performance.

The portion that holds the phone would not lock out. I tried 2 of them with no luck. Fortunately I had a phone holder from another vendor and it worked on the base.

Originally purchased a phone holder that sits in my cup holder. Not only did it take one of the cup holders out of service for holding drinks, it also forced me to take my eyes off the road when driving. The RedRock Cell Phone Holder was definitely a good purchase.

Works well but it’s kind of difficult to put phone into holder the way the release buttons are placed and the rubber holding pads have ribs in it that let it slide out they should have placed the ribs up and down not in and out .
