Stronger. If you are upgrading the rear gears in your F-150, it's a good idea to replace your wimpy stock Girdle Support System (a.k.a. differential cover) with a super strong Chrome Plated Steel Differential Cover for additional safety and great custom looks.
Superior Construction. This 8.8" RedRock 4x4 Differential Cover is made from heavy duty gauge steel for strength and features a bright chrome finish that will be sure to attract attention. This chrome plated rear end cover comes complete with the necessary bolts and gaskets for installation.
Recommended Upgrade. When changing your differential cover, it is recommended to upgrade to fresh Royal Purple Synthetic Gear Oil. You will need 3 quarts of Gear Oil.
Application. This RedRock 4x4 Chrome Differential Cover is designed to fit the 1997 to 2014 F-150s equipped with 8.8" differentials. Does not fit the 9.75" differential with 12 bolts on the cover.
Please Note. If you are unsure if your F-150 has an 8.8 in. (10 Bolt) or a 9.75 in. (12 Bolt) rear, please check with your local Ford dealer to determine what rear is in your truck.
