RedRock Exhaust Manifold Kit (91-99 4.0L Jeep Wrangler YJ & TJ)

My old exhaust manifold had rusted through. When I did an engine swap, it was the perfect time to address the exhaust leak. This replacement manifold was a perfect fit and does what it should. What can I say, it is an exhaust manifold. It either works, or it doesn't.

Exhaust manifold was just as described in the description. My only issue is the gasket did not line up with my top bolt holes. Had to go buy another gasket after purchasing this item. Fairly upsetting to have to spend an additional $30 because of poor quality. Luckily I received a better quality gasket from the auto parts store the same day and was able to finish the install.

I got the jeep and the previous owner had installed a headers, way too loud for me. This install was not hard great fit made job easy

Well I read other posts, and ordered a Fel-Pro gasket because others said the gasket included was garbage, which it was. The exhaust manifold it's self was ok, and fit the vehicle as it should. However, the O-ring didn't even fit the pipe, and neither did the two bolts to mount the pipe to the exhaust collector, one would think since you have both parts that you would check this. Poor quality control!

I replaced my cracked exhaust manifold over the weekend with this RedRock product and am very satisfied. I didn't give it a 5 star rating for two reasons... 1) the exhaust flange gasket connector to the tailpipe provided didn't fit on the provided header pipe (too small), so I ended up stripping out some of the inside and reshaping it to work, and 2) the manifold to head gasket provided was slightly off centered on two of the bolt holes so I had to slightly expand the hole area. However the header itself seemed of good quality, fit perfectly, and packaged appropriately.
