RedRock Front Paracord Door Limit Straps; Black and Neon Orange (07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK)

I really like the look of these Paracord straps. They do what I want them to do. The only downside is that they are a little loose and allow the doors to open further than I wanted.

My factory strap broke, and I needed a replacement. So I bought this product. It is a paracord weave. Expensive for the materials. (After all paracord is really cheap.) That is not the problem, though.

The problem is this product is just paracord with two loops at each end of the product. When you go to attach it to your Jeep hardware, you have nothing to attach it one one side. The Jeep hardware has a hook at one side (on the door) and a closed metal loop at the other side. This paracord product cannot magically go through the metal hoop side on the Jeep door system.

I went to the hardware store to buy a sufficiently strong metal hardware component to allow me to use this paracord product.

And then, when the wind blew, my Jeep door opened too far, and this product stretched far enough that my mirror dented the Jeep body. That is precisely the outcome this product is meant to avoid.

So, in sum, not only a PITA in terms of poor design, but the product failed completely to to the one thing I wanted it to do: keep the door from opening too far.

Stop selling the product, website operators.

Colors look pretty, though.

too long. allowed the doors to open to more than a 90% angle. dangerous for any vehicle parked next to you.

These door limiters may look cool but unfortunately these didn't hold up. They also leave your wiring flapping in the breeze.

Extremely happy with this product!! So easy to install. Holds tight! Its made a Veteran owned company!
