RedRock Fuel Door Cover (07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK)

Replaced corroded fuel door that was about 7 years old. Easy to change. Looks great

I'm happy with the material and finished look. However it was very loose after installed and would rotate. I pulled it back out and added some 3M double-sided outdoor foam tape behind the trim ring. It's secure now. Be sure to break off the 2 tiny plastic pins behind the trim ring. When taking the stock one out, you can access 2 of the retaining tabs when you remove the tail light. Once you've freed them, slide it forward and pull out from the rear where you depressed the tabs. It should come out with a little wiggling. Don't bother trying to take the stock gasket out, it will come when you remove the entire assembly. Definitely put the new gasket in before installing the door.

Fairly easy replacement but worth the small trouble to upgrade!

Circumference is too small. When installing, with the bottom engaged, the top clips would not engage. With the top clips engaged, the bottom was not in place. This could have never stayed in place while driving. Looks good, seems to be good quality, just the wrong size for my 2014 Wrangler. If it would have fit, I would have given 4 or 5 stars.
