Extra Ground Clearance. RedRock 4x4's High Clearance Cat-Back Exhaust System is the ideal upgrade for 2018-2025 4-door JL owners who are looking to improve the power, performance and ground clearance of their 3.6L V6 Wrangler. Perfect for extreme trail adventures, this Cat-Back features a hi-tuck design that provides increased ground clearance, while allowing additional clearance for most aftermarket suspension kits.

Stainless Steel Construction. RedRock 4x4 manufactures its High Clearance Cat-Back from mandrel bent, 2.5-inch diameter, stainless steel tubing for durability and corrosion resistance. This Cat-Back exhaust system features a straight through muffler that ends with a slant cut exhaust tip for impressive good looks and sound.

Direct Bolt-On Installation. RedRock 4x4 engineered its Cat-Back Exhaust to be a direct upgrade replacement for your Wrangler's factory exhaust. This Cat-Back Exhaust Kit easily bolts up in the stock location with no cutting, drilling or modifications required for a straight forward install that can be completed in about 2 hours.

Application. This RedRock 4x4 High Clearance Cat-Back Exhaust is specifically designed to fit 2018-2025 4-Door Jeep Wrangler JL models equipped with the 3.6L V6 engine.

Review for RedRock High Clearance Cat-Back Exhaust (18-25 3.6L Jeep Wrangler JL 4-Door)

As stated in review title, system will fit eTorque model with modifications to the rig itself. Disclaimer, the Q&A section states this system is not designed for eTorque, which it is not. If you want a bolt on for your eTorque model, look elsewhere. Mods required include moving the forward bracket over and also cutting off the flange. Muffler position is adjustable when rotated to obtain proper clearance from cooling lines on the frame and distance from the battery bracket. Aside from those modifications, the system installed as advertised. Sound was good but after about a week decided it was a little louder than I wanted. I added a resonator in place of the straight pipe section. The resonator I used has an 18”x4” body and quieted down the system to a more tolerable level and also has a very nice tone, it also did not cause any clearance issues as the resonator tucks above the bottom of the frame nicely. Sounds better to me now, not a sound you would expect from a Jeep. Slight interior noise but mainly when accelerating.

I mainly wanted this system for clearance, and that is exactly what I got. I did add some Design Engineering heat wrap on the coolant lines just for peace of mind, I wasn’t seeing any issues without it but figured it would help long term.

I listed install time at an afternoon just because my install was slightly custom. Also took a bit of time when I swapped in the extra resonator. All in all, removing factory system was the most difficult.

Review for RedRock High Clearance Cat-Back Exhaust (18-25 3.6L Jeep Wrangler JL 4-Door)

The hardest part was getting the old exhaust off. The RedRock cat-back system was very easy to install. The exhaust note is louder than the stock one. The only bad tone is just above 2000 rpm at 30-40 mph. At highway speeds its not so bad. It makes the engine sound bigger than it is. Do not know of any performance gain at this time.

Review for RedRock High Clearance Cat-Back Exhaust (18-25 3.6L Jeep Wrangler JL 4-Door)

When first turning on jeep the sound is pretty high pitched. After it warms up the sound is deeper. I would say it is pretty loud and if your jeep doesn't shift when it is supposed too it can be annoying at times. Overall I like it!
