These hood locks are durable and helped reduce hood noise. Only thing is they seem to have faded a little already.

Product looks good; however, there are a couple of issues. One, when I unboxed the item, one of the e-clips was laying loose inside the box. Second, the "lock nut" that bolts the latch isn't a lock nut, and it's a 14mm not a 13mm like in the instructions. I ended up using a stainless flat washer and lock washer to make sure it didn't work its way loose.
It would be nice if there were some alignment pins like on the OEM catch to help hold it in place while tightening the nut. Otherwise, you may need an extra set of hands. It took about an hour and a half to install, mainly due to needing to remove the grille and air filter box to get to the nut on the passenger side.
