Review for RedRock Mud Guards; Front and Rear (18-25 Jeep Wrangler JL, Excluding Rubicon & Willys)

I was looking for some Mud flaps to keep the stone chips off my paint. they fit right up and were easy to install. The only down side was I had to purchase a plastic rivet tool to install the rivets. and I had to get longer bolts to install the rear flaps. the original bolts were too short to reach thru the mud flap.
Overall they look good.

Review for RedRock Mud Guards; Front and Rear (18-25 Jeep Wrangler JL, Excluding Rubicon & Willys)

Front flaps were easy to install after I remove the wheels and tires. On the rear the 8 mm bolt was not long enough to go through the new mud flap, so I used a longer stainless steel one about a half an inch longer and didn't have to remove the wheels. They seem well built and are great to protect the side of my Jeep! Highly recommend them!

I had to return it (so it cost me $10) since it did not bring neither rivets nor screws for the installation

Red Rock mud flaps arrived fast. They were very easy to install and are made of good strong material. Must have if you live on dirt roads like me.

Review for RedRock Mud Guards; Front and Rear (18-25 Jeep Wrangler JL, Excluding Rubicon & Willys)

The product is well made and you can't beat the price. The front flaps were quick and easy to install. The back flaps is where this product took a turn.

Per the instructions you remove a 8mm bolt and then reuse this bolt through your new mud flap. The problem is this bolt is no where near long enough to reuse. At least not in my case. I had to hand hold the flap in place, used a sharpie to mark the 3 side holes to drill. 2 of the 6 plastic rivets broke while installing. There are no extras so I was forced to use a screw instead. Without being able to reuse the 8mm bolt I had to use a screw on the inside part of the flap to help secure the item to the vehicle.

For the money it is worth purchasing these mud flaps. Just be prepared to possibly struggle or get creative to install the rear flaps. It would be nice for an extra few plastic rivets because they can break easily. Also provide 2 new 8mm bolts that are longer to replace the short factory bolts.
