As I have a new bumper and winch on my 2014 Jeep JKU with no area on the new bumper to mount a license plate, I saw the Red Rock Roller Fairlead license plate cover, read the reviews and ordered it the day after I ordered my bumper. Install was straightforward. I did have to buy Snap ring pliers.. It was easy to install, the instructions were sufficient Unlike other versions of this, your plate stays attached to your vehicle, it just flips up, out of the way. I was concerned about theft of my plate and my NYS EZ Pass toll pass., which is why the Red Rock version is great. The plastic clips seems well made, I installed it when it was 42 degrees F outside. 2 extra clips come with it. Once you mount your plate on the montuhing bracket, your plate doesn;t magically flip up, you gram the sides of your plate near the bottom and pivot the plate up.I went slowly so as not to break the plastic clips. Not to worry, they seem durable, for NYS weather at least. Once unclipped at the bottom, you can pivot the plate up, well out of the way of the fairlead. The springs will hold it there. They don't allow the plate to fly up, that would require much more spring tension and maybe damage the aluminum bracket It is well made, and I'm glad I bought it. In the photos (IF I can figure out how to enter them here) I put tape over part of my license plate.. It's a cop thing... better safe than sorry. All told, I took my time, less than 20 minutes to install and not the least bit frustrating

Depending on how your winch plate is mounted or located, you may have to get longer 5/8 bolts with washer stackup to get above, so the license plate will flip up.
Looks sharp and fits great.

Fit great, quality design and build. Then they fell short by using plastic clips. Mine broke the fist time I used it! Should be made out of a more suitable material.
