Simple Bolt-on Installation. RedRock designed their Flag/Antenna Mount to bolt directly to your Jeeps tailgate hinge. There is no cutting or modifications required for a clean, straight forward installation. Installation can be completed in about 30 minutes with just basic hand tools.

Application. This RedRock Tailgate Hinge Flag and CB Antenna Mount is designed to fit 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models.

Solid product, but there are no instructions and installation is not straightforward. I've added pics of the process, but here is how we installed.

- remove factory hinge cover and the factory hinge bolt closest to center of the tailgate
- place the rubber spacer under the rectangular rubber block and use the factory hinge bolt to attach.
- place the supplied hinge cover over the newly installed spacer and use the larger of the two supplied bolts w/washer to secure it to the spacer
- use the remaining two smaller bolts to attach the tube holder brackets onto the new hinge covers. Install the bottom one first, then put the tube in, slide the top one over the tube and attach it.

No flag pole, not instructions. For this amount of money, instructions should have been provided.

I took one star off because it shipped without any installation instructions. There are no instructions on the site and no installation videos. I installed it incorrectly (although it worked) before I finally figured it out after zooming in on another purchaser’s picture. I’m also a little concerned about the screw friction retainer for the pole. Need to tighten it extra tight to prevent the pole from slipping.
