Quality Construction. This quality replacement Jeep Wrangler Soft Top from TruShield is made from a durable, 20 oz. black diamond vinyl coated polyester cotton blend to ensure reliable performance through the seasons. Each seam is heat sealed and features reinforced stitching with marine grade thread to prevent deterioration. Each window panel is equipped with heavy duty 30 mil thick transparent vinyl for impressive performance on and off road.
Required Hardware. For installation you will require the original factory soft top hardware. If you are missing any of the parts you will need Omix Hardware - 13308.04 and Mopar Hardware - 5517588AI, 5517589AI, 55176738AA, 55176739AA, 55176736AC.
Easy Installation. This Replacement TJ Soft Top is designed as a direct replacement for factory style tops. The entire factory style soft top bow assembly is necessary for installation. Simply take off your old soft top's fabric and replace it with TruShield's Replacement.
Application. This TruShield OE-Style Replacement Soft Top with Tinted Windows is specifically designed for use on 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ models excluding Unlimited. Upper door skins are not included.
Installation Note.This soft top should be installed at a temperature of 72°F since the fabric may contract an inch or more at colder temperatures. The top will contract and wrinkle during shipping, but have no fear. A few days after installation, the fabric should look fine.

I was worried about the top fitting properly given the reviews I had seen on other websites but it fit perfectly and kept the rain out. Take your time and installation is the reverse of removal.
Needed a new top. I had all the hardware. This top was easy to install and the fit and finish is better than expected. The zippers are heavy duty and work with easy. Highly recommended if your looking for a replacement top. Took about 45 min to replace.
This is a great product. Used it all summer just attached it to my existing frame and it been amazing. My 1999 Jeep is gonna be around for 23 more years. Amazing fit and very durable.
I have a 2000 Jeep Wrangler and it has been the most dependable vehicle I have ever owned. It has gotten me and all 3 of my kids out of a lot of binds when theirs was either in the shop or they got up with an unexpected flat or dead battery. It has helped me get them through their teenage years and now their spouses use it when needed. I thought I wanted to sell it, but decided to just perk her up a little and I am so glad I did! She's still old, but still reliable and her facelift looks great!
