RedRock Tubular Rock Crawler Rear Bumper with Tire Carrier; Textured Black (97-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ)

This is a great looking bumper and seems to be sturdy built! The tire carrier holds my 37" spare with no problem. The install wasn't too bad either. I did end up drilling the hole bigger than what the instructions said though as it made it easier to get the bumper mounting holes all lined up.

This tire care carrier was way better than I expected for the price. Definite upgrade to my jeep I get a lot of compliments on it. I would encourage anybody to put one on their TJ that has a tire mounted on their tailgate.

Very happy with how this has held up over the last 5 years. I live in the Mid West and drove this daily for 5 winters straight and there isn’t a spec of rust. Very well constructed and coated. Tire swing needs grease from time to time. Great product

Install is a breeze assuming you can’t put pieces together without instructions. Now it comes with instructions but they’re pretty terrible. Mine came probably open box and returned, there was already a broken off grease fitting for the hinge. The biggest problem is make sure your tire size isn’t too wide, if you follow what you can read on the instructions, you’ll assemble the parts like it says. If you do so very wide tires won’t let your wheel mount on the studs. You can fix it by moving the mount to outer holes or putting a spacer on, either or. Other than that it’s so much better than having a heavy duty hinge.

Love the look of this bumper!! The tire carrier seems to be able to handle my 35s. Took a little longer to install cause we did have to drill holes and it is a real tight squeeze to get to them but luckily I have tiny hands and wrist so I was able to get to them without dropping the fuel tank
