RedRock Under Seat Storage Lock Box; Driver Side (07-10 Jeep Wrangler JK 2-Door; 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK 4-Door)

I had one of these (different brand) installed in my previous JK. What I like about this one is the knob to open and close the drawer vs using the key, which is somewhat of a challenge at times.

The quality is first-rate. Fit and finish are excellent. Packaging is also excellent.

Installation is not too difficult, although I highly recommend using a trim removal tool. In my case I had two plastic fasteners securing the wiring harness. One of them was removed by hand, but the one to the rear was only removed with the tool due to its awkward location.

One of the more challenging aspects was securing the wiring harness with a zip-tie, which I truly wish was included with the kit. I secured mine to the seat frame rather than the other wiring harness under the seat, simply because doing it one-handed was not working out very well.

Overall, I very highly recommend this product.

I got this for the drive and passenger side installation was very easy. It took me about 20 minutes to install both safes under the seats. Very simple. Whenever I got them installed I did notice one thing when they were delivered they were both in separate boxes inside of one bigger box after I install them, I wanted to make sure that I didn't get the keys mixed up on checking to make sure the keys worked. I found that the keys for both safes were all the same and worked in either one. I don't know if this is because they were sold as a set and if you buy them as they said all the keys are capable of working with both safes or if I just buy some flute got two space that are keyed for the same ones. This kind of makes me worry because of the fact that what's the odds of getting Tuesdays with the same key. I searched all over the product description and it mentioned nothing about this. Maybe if I ever run into somebody with the same. Safe, I'll see if the key works and theirs.

Product was easy to install. Fits perfect on 2017 Jeep Rubicon.

My lock box arrived fast and in great shape . The box is a solid build and installation was easy. For the price you can’t go wrong with it.
